The threaded ring has the task of securely fastening the control valve onto the damper and is not an integral part of the valve itself. The unique technical challenge consists of producing rolled fine thread on a thin-walled, high-precision drawn ring. This requires an extremely efficient manufacturing process yet also enables considerable cost savings compared to conventional machining.
