The challenge with this magnet housing was to realise a long deep draw with a relatively high material thickness. The design had to find a cost-efficient solution, which was achieved through innovative 'trace' production and the use of a 2-cavity mould. Furthermore, this component requires compliance with numerous exact diameter specifications in order to guarantee the highest surface finish and sealing quality.
