The challenge with this magnet housing consisted of creating a long deep drawn component with a relatively high material thickness. At the same time, the engineering had to provide a cost-efficient solution, which was achieved through innovative trace production and the use of a 2-cavity tool. Furthermore, this component also has to comply with numerous, exact diameter specifications to guarantee the highest surface finish and sealing quality.
