The challenge with this magnet housing lies in  forming the material, which has been processed far beyond the limits of manufacturability. Achieving this high-precision end product requires heat treatment as well as inspection and straightening operations.
Initially the deep-drawn blank of the component still required subsequent machining. However, throug our advanced process, this machining step was eliminated, enabling significant cost savings for the customer.
